Kentim Institute of Innovation Science & Technology has officially announced the commencement of enrollment for its 2026 Semester One intake, inviting prospective students to apply for a wide range of diploma, certificate and short professional courses.

The institute, located at the Kentim University Complex along Kisaasi–Kyanja Road in Kampala, says it is targeting students seeking practical, skills-based training in science, technology, business and agro-veterinary disciplines.

According to the admission notice, programs under the Agro-Veterinary Department include National Diplomas in Animal Health, Animal Production and Management, Crop Production and Management, and Agro-Business, as well as a National Certificate in Agriculture Production. The institute says these courses are designed to equip learners with hands-on agricultural and livestock management skills to support Uganda’s growing agribusiness sector.

Under the Business and Entrepreneurship Department, applicants can enroll for Diploma and Certificate programs in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Hotel and Institutional Catering, Information Communication Technology, and Cosmetology and Beauty Therapy.

Administrators say the courses are structured to blend theory with practical application to enhance employability and self-reliance.

The institute is also offering a number of short skills-based courses, including training in office computer applications, artificial intelligence fundamentals, graphic design, computer hardware maintenance and repair, fashion and design, hairdressing, baking and cookery.

Farming-focused short courses such as dairy, poultry and goat rearing, apiculture, crop management and nursery bed management are also available.

Prospective students have been encouraged to apply early to secure placement in their preferred programs. The institute has provided multiple contact lines for inquiries and application guidance, noting that admissions are open to both recent secondary school graduates and individuals seeking to upgrade their skills.

Officials say the 2026 intake aims to expand access to affordable, competency-based education aligned with current market demands and innovation-driven careers.
