The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has released the official fixtures for the 2026 FUFA Big League promotional play-offs, setting the stage for decisive matches that will determine which clubs earn promotion to the top flight.

According to a circular issued on June 1, the play-offs will be conducted over two legs, with the first round scheduled for June 13–14, 2026, and the return legs set for June 20, 2026.

The matches will see several regional representatives battling for promotion in tightly contested fixtures spread across different venues in Uganda.

In the first-leg fixtures, Proline/Black Star will face Simba/Buwambo at Omondi/Wankulukuku Stadium at 3:00 PM, while Amus FC take on Myda FC at Amus Stadium, also kicking off at 3:00 PM.

Elsewhere, Mutolere SC will host Booma FC at Mashaka Grounds in Kisoro, and RedDevo/Pajule Lions will meet Pakwach Young Stars at Pajule/Namasale, with all fixtures scheduled for the same kickoff time.

The second-leg encounters, set for June 20, will see Simba/Buwambo host Proline/Black Star at Namulonge/Buwambo, while Myda FC will travel to Wera Institute in Amuria to face Amus FC.

Booma FC will take on Mutolere SC at Kakeeka in Kakumiro, and Pakwach Young Stars will host RedDevo/Pajule Lions at St Mary Ombachi Ground.

FUFA noted that teams listed with a slash (/) are still subject to the outcome of pending regional association results from Kampala, Buganda and the Northern regions.

The promotional play-offs will be decided over two legs using aggregate scores. In the event of a tie, the away goals rule will apply, followed by penalties if necessary.

The winners of the play-offs will secure promotion, adding high stakes and intensity to what is expected to be a competitive knockout phase of the season.

Football fans across the country are now set to witness crucial fixtures that will shape the composition of Uganda’s next top-flight season.
