Nairobi Woman Stranded with KSh10,000 Bill After Date Pulls Vanishing Act..
.A Nairobi woman, Juliette Awata, has gone viral on social media after being left with a KSh10,000 bill at a Sarit Centre rooftop bar when her date abandoned her.
According to Awata, she went out with a man she met online who went by the alias Allan Blessed Ochieng. After ordering, the man repeatedly stepped away to answer phone calls until he finally disappeared altogether.
The man used phone calls as an excuse to repeatedly leave the table before vanishing.
The Aftermath Bar staff detained Awata briefly until she settled the unpaid KSh10,000 bill.
Following the incident, the man deleted his social media profile. Awata is now appealing to the public for assistance in identifying him and recovering her funds.
